Village fair nostalgia

Visitors can look forward to two days of 1940s Nostalgia at Edith Weston's Vintage Fair.
Vintage and classic tractors, traction engines, miniature steam and stationery engines, vintage motorcycles plus the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (on Saturday), model aircraft and living history displays will all feature in the event that takes place tomorrow and on Sunday.
On Saturday morning there will be an auction of bygones, collectibles and antiques and during the evening the Ockbrook Big Band will entertain.
Tickets for the Vintage Fare are available on the gate at Manton Road, Edith Weston and cost £5 for adults, concessions £3.50 and children under 14 free. Parking is free. Big Band tickets cost £8 and are available from Stamford Arts Centre Box Office, 01780 763203.
