The future of The Parks? What option do we really have? As a result of listening to what parents are saying, it is now our intention to put forward a variation of Option 1.
Option 1A would involve the development of the existing provision of The Parks School and family support centre, plus the refurbishment of the adjacent adult day centre building to provide an outstanding special edu-cational environment for children with complex needs beyond foundation stage.

This would also be a centre of excellence supporting inclusion of children with additional needs across the county.

If you would like to support this amended option please write to Rutland County Council or contact The Parks School on 01572 756747 today.

In addition you may wish to discuss this with your local councillor or as soon as possible.

Thank you for your time and support.

PIA KERRIDGE
Headteacher,
on behalf of the governing body The Parks School,
Barleythorpe Road,
Oakham
