A wonderful, moving weekend

What a wonderful two-day event I attended last weekend Operation Market Garden at Spanhoe Airfield.
The air displays, Arnham re-enactment battle, the Ockbrooke big band and all the attractions.
The memorial service on Sunday was very moving and to have the veterans from America 35th TCG that were based at Spanhoe was an honour for us all.
A very big thank-you to chairman Stephen Barker and all his helpers for thier time and hard work arranging the weekend. The sunny weather over the two days made it all the better with a big attendance.
